Carpet Grass is used in commercial and home gardens, particularly in areas of poor and low fertility soils, plus will tolerate wettish and persistent damp soils.

Carpet Grass is a perennial ground cover and is effective for suppressing weeds.

Best sown in spring and summer with minimum soil temperature of 20˙C for ideal germination, in tropical and sub-tropical areas.
