Meet Pentas - the sunshine seeker. This vibrant beauty flourishes under the sun. While it's typically an annual in most regions, lucky gardeners in warmer areas enjoy its perennial charm. Pentas are known for their slow and steady growth, making them popular choices for containers and flower beds, Their low-maintenance nature means fewer worries and more blooming beauty.

This evergreen compact shrub displays clusters of pink, red, lilac or white flowers towering over dark-green lanceolate leaves during the warmer months of spring and summer.

Older varieties of Pentas, grow taller, over a metre and can look a little scrappy if left unpruned. New varieties are more compact and require minimal pruning after their flowering season.
